The Sabbath Day

"Remember The Sabbath Day To Keep It Holy." Exodus 20:8

The sermon this morning was on this verse. It was quite good! I'm getting more and more impressed with Pastor Larry's sermon's. I really believe God is working him to go deeper in his sermons.
He said that this day is supposed to be different than the other six. Get everything done on those other six days, and take the seventh to "unplug" from the world and "plug in" to God. Give this day to him. Worship Him on this day and don't let anything else come before it. Then he also said that God did not create us to be 24/7 creatures! We are supposed to rest today so we can be refreshed and re-charged for the six new days ahead! So, remembering the service, we did just these things. Worshipped Him this morning in church, went home, and lazied.

Today was also very special because Dad had today, off! (the parking lot at work was getting paved. So much paving going on here!) He used to have every other Sunday off, but new schedule says, no Sundays off. However, we now have him until 11:30a on weekdays and Fridays off. So, we are happy!:) Anyways, i'm losing myself.....
I love it when Dad is here on Sundays! There is just a complete feeling that comes through the house when he's here on Sundays. Of course, we are not totally complete with Jordan (#1;) up at college, but she's always "here";) When Dad's here on sundays we:
All get to eat lunch together.
Everyone gets to see him all day and be lazy with him. It's just a very cool feeling through the house:)
So today definitely was "different", but a great different.
Here are some pictures from today:
We all matched:) Without planning too!
The definition of cuteness

The H-Man
Would have been perfect if, he didn't have his fingers in. He has never sucked his thumb. Which is good, but the fingers are kinda smoker-ish looking says Mom.....He eventually needs to stop all together really.
Being:Lazy!
This is what I got to do today! Finally watch Roman Holiday! I've owned it since Christmas and still had not seen it yet!:(
I loved it!:)
(I asked for a silly face:)
#6 and #7 got to watch a movie in their room. I was cracking up because they had to watch their movie on a tape. They had no idea what a tape was! Talk about lol! Harrison wanted me to show him how to put it in, how to push play, and then asked where the menu was! Too funny:*)
Their adorable cup from target:)

I set a tent up for them to sit in during the movie. They loved it;)

I like this. idk why. i just do.

Elston strikes again! Harrison and Grayson both got a remote control car from him! He didn't want to watch them collect dust anymore so, gifts for them! They were filled with joy:)
Really, they were. Even though Grayson looks like he could kill....
Our sister next door came over to watch;)
