Now I know what I should be doing, since it's my very, very first post, is write out a long (probably boring) bio about me. Really though, who wants to sit and learn about me and my crazy wonderful family, all in one post?! Let's be honest. Not me:) I think it would be way more fun to learn a little about us in every post. Don't cha think so too?
Besides the fact that, it would be pretty much impossible for me to sum up all my 16 years of being a Mechling in JUST one post!
So! Instead of bios, I'm going to hit the blog running. Day 1! Welcome to the Mechlings! Let's begin! Here is the first ever window into that family of 9........
Everyone knows (and I hope loves;) that today was the first day of October! Fall is our favorite season! It's just perfect! I'm very thankful to be born in this season. In fact, I was born in this month! Ya know what I'm also thankful for? To be born on Halloween! yup, like I said, perfect:) I love the smells that fall brings. I love the cool, crisp days that fall brings. I love the feel of fall! It's bliss! God so created me now, knowing that this is my kinda season:) Oh, Fall also holds my "favorite smell"! You know the awesome fragrant that comes from burning wood? That's it! I just want to bottle that up and save it for later. Or, save it for summer. It's just the greatest smell out there. (In my opinion that is:) It's even more awesome when it's blissfully cold out. Yes, i just created my own term i do believe:) I'm definitely welcoming fall with wide, longing, excited, wanting, joyful arms! (and with a very sharp nose too!;)
I hope you enjoy the pics!
(I have more pictures, but my computer went all wiggy when i hit upload. I'll post them in the next,...post. I need to learn some new "blog lingo";)
These crazy crossed-eyed gals are bestie buds. On the right is my sister (#4 as Bruce, Mom's step-dad, would call her:) Chandler. On the left, our adopted sister (j/k! She lives right next door!) Kristen
This *Heart Melting* face belongs to (#7:) Grayson
He's been working on going cross-eyed lately. This is the way he's been taught to make his "eyes look at his nose". Too funny:)
I loved his perfect little overalls today!:)
See you in the next post!
