Thanksgiving Festivities consisted of the following:
- Sister #1 returning home for the first time since August.
- Pictures are taken.
- All of #1's siblings rush out the back door to meet her and help unload that tiny car.
- Plans being made of course. Plans were different this year; Cousin Dale was asked to join us for the feast at Grandmother's home!
- Siblings #3,#4,#5 all sleep in #5's little nook room.
- Following tradition, NBC was tuned into on that bitter cold morning and we all gathered to watch the float graze the screen.
- We dreamed of seeing the floats in real life.
- Pictures are taken.
- Everyone got ready for the feast at about oooh, 1pm.
- We were supposed to be on location by 3 I believe.
- Pictures were (unfortunately;) not taken.
- The cars were loaded: 6 woman, 4 men, 3 kid sized chairs, 2 Footballs, 1 table, and 1 just cleaned dog.
- We all arrive.
- Some pictures sneak a snap.
- Some help with final touches for the feast.
- (While some others;) Took pictures.
- Others hit the backyard with footballs in hand and pro football player hopes in heart and mind.
- Numerous pictures are taken.
- Cold-red-cheeked-runny-nose football players trudged inside.
- We all held hands, and prayed.
- Thanking God for the blessings, lessons, happenings, and family.
- A picture, was taken.
- We said Amen.
- We lined up just like in a cafeteria except, with china plates in hand.
- Pictures were taken.
- We all filled our stomachs sick.
- Pictures were taken, but not shown;)
- Football players gathered around the 42" and watched the game.
- Pictures were taken.
- I felt a little achey.
- The kitchen was cleaned up with lots of help.
- I could not take credit for any of it.
- I felt now really achey and is anyone else freezing in here??
- Pictures were taken over by Chandler #4 and Maddie #5.
- I ached in a chair trying my best to cover up any signs of my pains.
- Grandma called for requests of pumpkin and pecan pie.
- It was silent.
- Enzymes were working.
- I hinted that I needed some Advil.
- The sun began to rest.
- My aches did not.
- Pictures were taken over by #4 and #5.
- I could not get warm.
- My camera was put away.
- The car was re-loaded.
- We stalled inside.
- We said good-bye and thanked abundantly.
- I shook in the car.
- 70% of the passengers, fell asleep.
- We arrive home 30 minutes later.
- We sit around and listen to adults talking,children add opinions and even inside jokes here and there.
- It gets later and later.
- Everyone gets pj's on.
- I can't get enough layers on.
- I lie in front of a heater, still freezing.
- Adults are now talking by themselves.
- Kids are in bed.
- It's close to midnight.
- I can't take my body aching anymore.
- Mom asks if I feel alright.
- I get my temp taken.
- I have a temp of 101.3
- I never get fevers.
- I get lots of medicine.
- I say goodnight to everyone and head straight to bed in #5's little nook room with #4 and #5.
- Adults talk into 1am.
- Dale travels home slightly later.
- Everyone falls asleep with Christmas songs playing in their minds and radios.
- I am asleep.
- Everyone is asleep.
- Thanksgiving Day, is gone.
