Over the Highway and Through the Neighborhood

Thanksgiving Festivities consisted of the following:
  1. Sister #1 returning home for the first time since August.
  2. Pictures are taken.
  3. All of #1's siblings rush out the back door to meet her and help unload that tiny car.
  4. Plans being made of course. Plans were different this year; Cousin Dale was asked to join us for the feast at Grandmother's home!
  5. Siblings #3,#4,#5 all sleep in #5's little nook room.
  6. Following tradition, NBC was tuned into on that bitter cold morning and we all gathered to watch the float graze the screen.
  7. We dreamed of seeing the floats in real life.
  8. Pictures are taken.
  9. Everyone got ready for the feast at about oooh, 1pm.
  10. We were supposed to be on location by 3 I believe.
  11. Pictures were (unfortunately;) not taken.
  12. The cars were loaded: 6 woman, 4 men, 3 kid sized chairs, 2 Footballs, 1 table, and 1 just cleaned dog.
  13. We all arrive.
  14. Some pictures sneak a snap.
  15. Some help with final touches for the feast.
  16. (While some others;) Took pictures.
  17. Others hit the backyard with footballs in hand and pro football player hopes in heart and mind.
  18. Numerous pictures are taken.
  19. Cold-red-cheeked-runny-nose football players trudged inside.
  20. We all held hands, and prayed.
  21. Thanking God for the blessings, lessons, happenings, and family.
  22. A picture, was taken.
  23. We said Amen.
  24. We lined up just like in a cafeteria except, with china plates in hand.
  25. Pictures were taken.
  26. We all filled our stomachs sick.
  27. Pictures were taken, but not shown;)
  28. Football players gathered around the 42" and watched the game.
  29. Pictures were taken.
  30. I felt a little achey.
  31. The kitchen was cleaned up with lots of help.
  32. I could not take credit for any of it.
  33. I felt now really achey and is anyone else freezing in here??
  34. Pictures were taken over by Chandler #4 and Maddie #5.
  35. I ached in a chair trying my best to cover up any signs of my pains.
  36. Grandma called for requests of pumpkin and pecan pie.
  37. It was silent.
  38. Enzymes were working.
  39. I hinted that I needed some Advil.
  40. The sun began to rest.
  41. My aches did not.
  42. Pictures were taken over by #4 and #5.
  43. I could not get warm.
  44. My camera was put away.
  45. The car was re-loaded.
  46. We stalled inside.
  47. We said good-bye and thanked abundantly.
  48. I shook in the car.
  49. 70% of the passengers, fell asleep.
  50. We arrive home 30 minutes later.
  51. We sit around and listen to adults talking,children add opinions and even inside jokes here and there.
  52. It gets later and later.
  53. Everyone gets pj's on.
  54. I can't get enough layers on.
  55. I lie in front of a heater, still freezing.
  56. Adults are now talking by themselves.
  57. Kids are in bed.
  58. It's close to midnight.
  59. I can't take my body aching anymore.
  60. Mom asks if I feel alright.
  61. I get my temp taken.
  62. I have a temp of 101.3
  63. I never get fevers.
  64. I get lots of medicine.
  65. I say goodnight to everyone and head straight to bed in #5's little nook room with #4 and #5.
  66. Adults talk into 1am.
  67. Dale travels home slightly later.
  68. Everyone falls asleep with Christmas songs playing in their minds and radios.
  69. I am asleep.
  70. Everyone is asleep.
  71. Thanksgiving Day, is gone.
  72. Just
  73. Like
