Friday.
Dad's 1 day off of the week.
We teamed up and got down to work.
Lots of it.
I believe we were the picture of 1 very productive day.
This day consisted of:
Pressure washing.
Pressure washing.
And
Pressure Washing.
I checked off the deck as Dad checked off yard work.
Then we headed out front and Dad did the front stoop and the sidewalk.
Then we shared the job of the driveway.
1/2 and 1/2.
Just Dad and Me.
We got it all done in 1 day:)
Oh yea.
;)
As I waited for my next "square" on the driveway, I spied Harrison and Grayson having a "brothers" moment.
They were both out there sitting together beneath the river birch reading a VW magazine.
Just the 2 of them:)
Just being cute.
As usual.
New haircut squidly tried desperately all day to get outside and
got a Squidy photo shoot instead.
And I, got a totally legit farmer's tan. Or "golfer's tan" as Mom called it.
For no reason, it never accured to me to put sunscreen on. As I was spraying away at the driveway with my neck facing the direct beam of the sun, Dad came over and suggested I go in and get some sunscreen on. I replied, "Oh no. Am I becoming a red neck?!"
"A little bit."
;)
Sure enough, my neck is so hideous today. I have also, about 3 inch squares of red on the back of my arms from where my sleeves ended and a faint flip flop tan.
(Haha,....it looks worse in real life;)
Don't be jealous, it's so attractive! I can't wait to show all of it off at church.
Soooo classy.
And to top off the gorgeousness, my toes have a cute accessory now.
I woke up this morning, walked downstairs and realized that my pinky toe hurt a bit. I curled my toes and pushed them into the floor to try and pop them only to then be met with a very unpleasant, pain.
That, was not a good idea.
I'm not sure what I did to little pinky. I went to bed and it was just fine. The only thing I can think of is that I accidentally very closely blasted it with the pressure washer a few times. Can that really break bones?
I don't think so.
It's a mystery.
So, that was Friday.
I'm very proud of Friday.
It was a good day even with the red neck, red squared arms, and possibly broken toe. And, with some good ol' "Father Daughter working together bonding moments" packed in too, it was a great day:)
Yup, that was
