Gubye, Mate

Cousin Dale is a barrista. It's that very title that is leading him to a new life in....Australia! He's moving there. Like, to live. We're all so jealous. I wish I could just pick up and go move to a brand new awesome out of country world. But I can't. Oh, well. I can only hope.
Anyways. Dale is a comedian. I mean, not really, but very well could be. Mom said after he left, "Now you guys have to try to make me laugh as much as Dale can make me laugh...."
We've always been able to just goof off and crack up every since he was little." Uh! Yes, at first we were slightly hurt, but it's true. First though, I know Dad can always make Mom crack up, but not too many others besides Dad and occasionally us kiddies can really make us all laugh as much as Dale can. We used to get it everyday when he lived with us for awhile. We all have "par Dale humor" moments, yes, but, we're not Dale;) A classic Dale,"Give me a buck-it, i'm gunna frow up". Well, i mean, I know i've got some pretty fab make-you-caaarrrryy jokes, but I'm just sayin......And Dad, oh, Dad has made history with his ways of making us just crack up. And still, all of us will of course miss him for numerous reasons. It'll be weird knowing he's not just minutes away at his coffee shop. No, we'll have to wait for a possible 3 years to see him again! 3!

So yesterday we whizzed to the airport to say goodbye for 3 years.
He told Mom that he wanted to see a paparazzi shot. "I wanna see the corner of a garbage can in them". Well, I didn't get the can, but I got the pillar. Hope that works;)
We gathered around their "life in 4 bags"
(they as in his barrista buddy, Jordan. He is moving to Australia with Dale!)
and talked and cracked up for a bit and took a group pic.
Then it was time to head over to security and really say goodbye.
First Mom discovered the ziplocs! The glorious ziplocs! (He didn't have to steal any from a kid now! See facebook album (at bottom) for whole story;)
After ziploc-ing his things with Mom's instruction,
we said goodbye.
We gathered for a group hug,
they posed for a cheesy picture,
said goodbye to Dad over the phone,
and were off in a blur.
Gone. Well, after we followed them further and I got yelled at for taking pictures too close to security.
Then, they were gone.
Then we were gone.
Now we were on our way to Ikea to see our Billy bookcases. As we walked to the car, looking straight through the parking deck we saw the wing of a plane go by!
We ran to the other end of the lot and saw this.
How scary is this that planes are this close!?
We all enjoyed it though.
We first went to subway in Atlantic Station and saw this:
And laughed at this:
Who parked that there?!
Then we saw this:
And this:
And found out that the driver of that is a retired player of the New England Patriots! Just eating dinner in subway with us. Yea, just....
As I said on facebook, we hit the hot street, and the burb made it sizzle first.
Finally at Ikea. We sat for about half an hour in this room, in Ikea.
Getting ideas and inspiration, and dreaming.
Then we got ice cream, and stood around the car with it, banished until all the cone was gone.
And left.
We arrived at Dad's work and saw Cooper.
Isn't he so cute? Especially under there, parked like that. Dad put him there, safe from the storm:)
Dale is still on a plane right now, nearly 24 hours later, and we're still missing him. Have an awesome, LUCKY life in Australia Dale! See ya when we see ya:)
And that day, was that day.
The.End.
